A person who teaches well is different to a good teacher. A person who teaches well helps you learn. They make sure you know what you need to know. To them learning is straight forward, you are at school to learn and that’s that.
A good teacher is a person who understands that there is more to learning than just pens and paper. They know that having fun is a part of learning too. I think that’s why people enjoy subjects such as photography and P.E, you have a chance to learn but you have that chance with your friends.
A good teacher doesn’t always stay on topic. Last year when I was in year eight I had a teacher called Mr. T and he taught me science. He was the best teacher because he understood that the things that we were taught didn’t interest us, and so he gave us the chance to ask any science questions that we wanted. Most students in my class respected him, because he knew what was important to us.
There isn’t just one type of good teacher, and I think that’s what makes a teacher good, they aren’t the same as all other teachers, and the experiences that you have in your classes with your maths teacher are different to those that you have with your R.E teacher. A good teacher is individual…and sometimes they give lolliesJJJ

ive used the word teach so many times it has llost meaning

Hey annie i agree that people like P.E. and photography because it is a chance for us to talk to our friends and we get to play a game or something instead of sitting at a desk with a pen and paper!!!

[...] It is time to start recognising some good blog posts written by bloggers in our very own class. Annie writes in a very natural voice about teaching and learning and uses humour to communicate. Another lovely post comes from Eden who writes about how her brother is one of her favourite teachers, teaching her to be crazy and have fun.   [...]

This made me think about all the teachers I’ve had in my life. I’ve learned more and better with the teachers that thought us with fun. For example, in second grade I had a teacher named Ms. Galy, and she tought us playing and I learned a lot. I really liked how you expressed your feeling about teachers and learning, you really diserve to have a space in the best posts of your class.
